The last of the apple harvest is being picked and pressed into fresh cider with your help!
Join us in late each September for our annual old-fashioned Community Gathering. Pick apples in our shady Orchard. Try your hand at turning the Apple Press. Explore the Story Walk in the Native Plant Garden. Pick up a quick snack at the Bake Sale and Veggie Stand. Enjoy a taste of the freshly made cider. Come and enjoy the day!
Children under 12 will need parental supervision, and have great fun!
Volunteer hours available for high school students.
It all happens in the Orchard Gardens, hiding in plain site behind the former Holy Cross Lutheran at the corner of Factoria Blvd. and Newport Way - right across from Newport High School.
