Micki began volunteering as an Orchard Steward in 2016. Then, a recently bulldozed space that had been full of invasive blackberries caught her attention. Soon, she shifted much of her focus over to creating and managing The Native Plant Garden. She also serves on a number of community nonprofit boards in the area. She enjoys cooking, creating art, and learning about all sorts of things, including heirloom apples, plant propagation, and ecosystems of the PNW.
