the p-patch

The Orchard Gardens P-patch is a gardening oasis, hidden in South Bellevue. With over 20 individual plots on site, you can find just about everything growing in the garden: fig and citrus trees, herbs, tomatoes, squash, and more. There is a great community of gardeners working in the garden every day.

become a p-patch gardener

From Spring to late Fall, our gardeners are growing fresh produce — both for themselves and for the larger community. Plots typically become available in early Spring.

Gardener requirements:

  • Contribute at least ten hours of community service hours to the common areas of the p-patch garden on top of maintaining your plot.

  • Only garden organically. No chemicals or pesticides.

  • Share your harvest with local food bank partners.

Fees: Please contact us for the coming year’s annual rental fee.

For more information, or to be placed on the waiting list, please contact us by filling out the interest form below.

donate produce to local food bank

One of the really special things about the garden is that our gardeners donate fresh produce weekly to a local food bank, the Groceries for Families program run by Jubilee Reach.

Hello, Neighbor,

We love getting our hands dirty. We support local food banks by sharing part of our bountiful p-patch harvest and have fun work parties to keep common areas of the p-patch nice and tidy. We have lots of volunteer opportunities to connect with nature and your team mates. If this is your kind of community, please come by for a visit and/or sign up for news and event updates.
