Welcome to The Orchard Gardens. As we join together to care for this place and to grow food and community, let’s begin by recognizing that the region we inhabit today is the ancestral home of the Coast Salish.

We are grateful to these original caretakers, who continue working to steward the land and the waters, and the plants and animals living here. Their work is vital not only to the wellbeing of their people, but to the wellbeing of our entire region. We partner and partake in these same endeavors because it is the right thing to do.
