New buildings are on the way!
THE ORCHARD GARDENS WILL REMAIN OPEN DURING CONSTRUCTION.

our orchard

Here, the past is still alive. Some of these trees have been fruiting for over a century—rooted in the same soil, offering the same sweet harvest season after season. The world around them has changed a lot, but the trees remain steady. They just keep making good fruit. (no drama, no fuss). When we harvest here, we’re joining a long line of hands and stories that have cared for this place. These trees still bring people together. And that’s part of what makes this orchard so special.

We partner with City Fruit to harvest fruit throughout the Summer and Fall for donation to area foodbanks, with less perfect fruit going to local Cideries.  In the fall, we occasionally host Family Apple Picking Days– check our Facebook page! And our biggest Apple Picking is annually in late September, during the Apple Picking and Cider Pressing Festival.

From a farmer’s orchard in the early 1900s to today’s community orchard, these trees have seen a lot.

There’s always plenty to be done at the Orchard Gardens! Let’s get outside, and get started.
