annual apple picking and cider pressing festival

For one Saturday each September, we invite everyone to come together to bring in the heirloom apple harvest and press it into fresh cider for tasting. P-patch veggies and yummy baked goods for sale, and more. This fun annual event is great for all ages. Hope to see you there!

Check our events page for up-to-date details.

With each press, the rich, amber liquid flows, capturing a day spent in the natural world. The scent of fresh cider mingles with the fall air, celebrating hard work and the Earth’s bounty. In the Orchard Gardens enchanting fall, we discover connection—not just to the land, but to each other and the simple joys that remind us that we really did earn that second slice of pie!

Because we are pressing cider as soon as we pick the apples, we are not as concerned with damaging the fruit when we pick. Shown here, a tarp is spread to catch fruit being picked from up high.
